MSc Nursing Pre-registration - Adult

Course Overview

The MSc Nursing (Pre-registration - Adult) at the University of Lincoln takes 2 years to complete full-time and is meant for graduates who want to become registered adult nurses. The course helps students learn how to provide safe and effective care to patients. It also teaches them about health and how to support healthy living.

Students spend half of their time learning theory in class and half in practical settings, which means they get real experience in healthcare. They must also complete placements at various healthcare sites across Lincolnshire. The programme includes core modules like Managing Complex Care, Nursing Practice, Essential Interprofessional Practice, and Service Evaluation for Clinical Practice.

The course is recognised by the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC), which allows graduates to register as adult nurses. Students will acquire advanced skills in decision-making, communication, and leadership. This prepares them for senior roles in hospitals, community care, and other specialised nursing areas.
