Course Overview

The Master of Business Administration (Logistics and Supply Chain Management) at the University of Hertfordshire is a one-year full-time programme. Students are taught to understand advanced business and management techniques including strategic marketing and financial analysis. They study core modules such as People Management, Marketing and Entrepreneurship, Logistics and Supply Chain Management, and Financial Principles and Practice.

About University

The University of Hertfordshire, located in Hatfield, Hertfordshire, officially became a university in 1992. However, its roots can be traced back to 1948 when it started as Hatfield Technical College. Today, it caters to a large student body from around the world across its two main campuses: College Lane and de Havilland. These campuses are designed with eco-friendliness in mind and feature impressive facilities, including the £50 million Science Building, which supports modern learning.

The university offers a variety of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in areas like Tourism Management, Animation, Biomedical Sciences, and Law. It collaborates with well-known organisations such as Warner Bros., Rolls-Royce, and the NHS, allowing students the chance to gain valuable hands-on experience. 

Entry Requirements

  • Applicants who have relevant work experience are qualified to apply.

Grade Requirements:

  • Candidates should possess a minimum of a 2:2 honours degree in any discipline or an equivalent qualification.

English Proficiency:

  • International applicants whose first language is not English need to show evidence of their proficiency. This course requires an IELTS score of 6.5 overall and at least 5.5 in each skill area.

  • Those who completed an English-taught degree at a UK university or an accepted institution abroad may not be required to meet this requirement.

Cost of Study

For the academic year 2025/26, the University of Hertfordshire's Master of Business Administration (Logistics and Supply Chain Management) programme for international students has a tuition fee of approximately £18,800 per year. However, this fee may still be revised. 

Scholarships

The University of Hertfordshire provides several scholarships that international students can benefit from. There is the Chancellor's International Scholarship, which awards amounts between £500 and £4,000, and it is based on academic achievement. International undergraduate students can also benefit from the UG Tri Annual Scholarship, which offers a £2,000 tuition fee discount per academic year.
