BA International Business Management

The BA International Business Management at the University of East Anglia is a three-year course that prepares students for careers in global business. It focuses on international trade, technology, and managing businesses in both developed and emerging markets. Students can choose to extend the course by adding a Year in Industry or Year Abroad, which helps them gain practical experience or explore new cultures.

Throughout the course, students learn to analyse business environments, compare global markets, and understand how international strategies work. Some of the key modules that students study include Introduction to Accounting and Finance, Principles of Marketing, International Business, and Strategic Management. These provide a strong foundation in business while building important skills like critical thinking and problem-solving.

Students are assessed through coursework, group projects, and exams, ensuring both theoretical knowledge and practical skills are tested. The course is delivered by UEA’s Norwich Business School, which is accredited by the AACSB.

Grade Requirements

• The requirements are 32 points overall in the IB, ABB in A levels (General Studies is not accepted), or DDM in a BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma. International equivalents are recognised as well.

English Proficiency

• Applicants should achieve a minimum overall IELTS score of 6.0, with no individual skill falling below 5.5. The test must be completed within two years before the start of the course.
• Candidates who are nationals of certain countries might be exempt from meeting English language requirements.

International students enrolling in the University of East Anglia’s BA International Business Management programme for the 2025/26 academic year can expect tuition to be around £24,800. Keep in mind that this fee may increase by up to 4% each year.

The University of East Anglia (UEA) offers a range of scholarships for international students. Among these, the British Council GREAT Scholarship provides £10,000 to help cover tuition fees for postgraduate courses, while the UEA+Sport Individual Scholarship supports student-athletes with up to £1,500 in financial assistance and additional benefits.

Postgraduate students can also apply for the International PG Merit Scholarship, which offers a tuition fee discount of up to £5,000. Additionally, the UEA One Year American Library Scholarship grants a £10,000 reduction in tuition fees exclusively for US citizens enrolled in full-time postgraduate research programmes.
