Entry Requirements

Grade requirements

  • For 2025 entry, typical requirements include A-Levels at BBC, a Merit in a T Level, or a DMM in a BTEC. International students need to have qualifications equivalent to A Levels.

English Proficiency

  • Candidates whose first or primary language is not English usually require an overall IELTS score of 6.0. This score must be achieved with a minimum of 6.0 in Writing, 5.5 in Listening, 5.5 in Reading, and 5.5 in Speaking.
  • In addition to IELTS, the university recognises several other English language qualifications. Examples include tests like TOEFL and PTE, as well as some regional qualifications such as WAEC and NECO from West Africa.

Cost of Study

Tuition fees for this course vary depending on your residency: Scottish students pay £1,820 and can apply to SAAS for tuition coverage; students from England, Wales, Northern Ireland, and the Republic of Ireland pay £9,535 and can seek financial assistance from the Student Loans Company; and international students pay £22,500, with an annual increase capped at 5%.

The University of Dundee offers several undergraduate scholarships for applicants who are classified as international fee-paying students and reside outside the UK. Eligible students can receive scholarships ranging from £2,000 to £6,000 per year. For Scottish students, tuition fees are typically covered by the Student Awards Agency for Scotland (SAAS).
