BA Animation

This animation degree at Teesside University is for anyone who wants to work in animation for films, TV, or video games. You will learn both creative and technical skills. You can choose to focus on an area you like, but you'll also learn key things like animation basics, computer graphics, how to develop visuals, how to rig characters, and how to capture movement.

You will learn in special animation studios that have the best software and equipment, including a motion-capture studio, a soundstage, and a recording studio. You will learn through lessons, helpful sessions, and group projects. Your work will be graded based on practical projects you complete throughout the year, which can be done alone or in a team, depending on your future career goals.
