BSc Entrepreneurship and Innovation with Foundation Year

The BSc Entrepreneurship and Innovation with Foundation Year is a four-year full-time (or six-year part-time) course that starts with an extra year to properly prepare you for studying at university. This foundation year is especially useful if you are coming back to education after some time away, haven't studied the right subjects before, or your previous grades weren't high enough to go straight into the main degree. Grade Requirements:

• For the 2025/2026 academic year, the usual entry requirements are 48 UCAS tariff points. You can get these points through different qualifications, such as A Levels, a BTEC Extended Diploma at MPP, a BTEC Diploma at MM, T Levels, or the International Baccalaureate. 
• If you have qualifications from other countries that are equal to A Levels, the university will consider them as well.

English Proficiency:

• If English is not the first language you speak, you will typically need to get an overall score of 6.5 in the IELTS test with a minimum score of at least 6.0 in each part of the test. 
• The university also accepts similar scores from other English language tests that are officially recognised, such as PTE and TOEFL.

For the 2025/2026 academic year, the fee you will pay each year if you come from a country outside the UK is £18,060.

Birkbeck University of London offers quite a few scholarships for students who come from other countries. These include the Global Future Scholarship and the Birkbeck International Excellence Scholarships. 

There are also specific scholarships that are only for students from India and Nigeria. Other ways you might be able to get financial help include the Commonwealth and Chevening Scholarships.
