MEng Electrical and Electronic Engineering

Course Overview

This MEng Electrical and Electronic Engineering course equips students with the practical, technical, and analytical skills they'll need for a successful engineering career. It also helps them work towards becoming a Chartered Engineer. Entry Requirements for Sri Lankan Students

Candidates are required to submit a personal statement in which they discuss their reasons for applying for the course and other important information about their studies. A relevant academic and/or employer reference is also required. Students have the option to upload their CV along with their applications to show their work experience.

Grade Requirements:

  • For entry in 2025/26, applicants need 96 to 112 UCAS Tariff Points from acceptable Level 3 qualifications, such as A-levels, T Levels, BTEC Diplomas/Extended Diplomas, Scottish and Irish Highers, Access to HE Diplomas, or the International Baccalaureate. 

English Proficiency:

  • International applicants whose first language is not English should achieve a minimum overall IELTS (Academic) score of 5.5, with no less than 5.5 in each component, or submit an approved equivalent test score.

Cost of Study

For the MEng Electrical and Electronic Engineering course, the tuition fee for International students is £20,950.
