To be eligible for the Barrister Training Course with Professional Legal Studies (Master’s), applicants must possess a qualifying law degree or a non-law degree supplemented by a Law Conversion Course, such as a CPE/GDL/PGDL, with a minimum classification of 2:2. Additionally, applicants must demonstrate fluency in English and hold membership of an Inn of Court. 

If an applicant's undergraduate degree was obtained outside the UK and they have completed a law conversion course, they will require a Certificate of Academic Standing from the Bar Standards Board (BSB).

Grade Requirements:

• A qualifying law degree or a non-law degree plus completion of a Law Conversion Course (CPE/GDL/PGDL) with a minimum classification of 2:2.

English Proficiency:

• International students whose first language is not English are required to achieve an overall IELTS score of 7.5, with a minimum of 7.5 in each skill (listening, reading, writing, and speaking). Other English Proficiency test qualifications such as PTE, TOEFL, or SELT are accepted.

The cost of study for international students varies depending on the location. For those studying in London Central (Holborn), the fee is £21,600. For students at the Birmingham, Leeds, Manchester, and Bristol locations, the fee is £19,700. It is important to note that these fees include the Bar Standards Board (BSB) registration fee of £840. To secure a place on the course, a deposit of £350 must be paid within 48 hours of accepting the offer.
