The BSc Computer and Digital Forensics course prepares students with the ability to investigate, prevent, and find digital crimes and threats from terrorism. Students will learn about file types, methods for getting back lost data, computer networks, communication rules, security, secret codes, how to understand software, and investigation techniques. They will also use standard tools in computer forensics, such as X-Ways, Magnet AXIOM, UFED Cellebrite, and Passware.
Students gain practical experience through various teaching methods, including lectures, tutorials, discussions, workshops, laboratory work, and project assignments. The course is officially approved by the Chartered Society of Forensic Sciences, ensuring its high quality and relevance.
