BEng Engineering Top-up Online

BEng Tech (Hons) Engineering (Top-up) (Online) at Teesside University is a fully online degree designed for students who already hold a Higher National Diploma (HND) or Foundation Degree and wish to gain a full undergraduate degree in engineering. The course takes one year to complete full-time or two years part-time, depending on student preference.

This top-up degree builds on existing knowledge in areas such as electrical and electronic systems, drives, power electronics, and related disciplines. Students will also explore modules on sustainability, Industry 4.0, and systems integration, applying their learning through design and project work.

Assessment methods include coursework, projects (including a final design or dissertation project), technical reports, presentations, and case studies.

Grade Requirements:

• Applicants must hold an HND, DipHE, or equivalent qualification in engineering or a related discipline.

English Proficiency:

• IELTS overall score of 6.0 with at least 5.5 in each component.
• Pearson PTE Academic with a minimum score of 59 is also accepted.
• Applicants who achieved at least a grade C (or 65%) in English at O-Level, secondary, or high school may also be considered.

The tuition fee for international students is £6,600 per year for full-time study. The part-time fee is £4,635 per 120 credits per year. Fees are reviewed annually by the university and are subject to change.

There are flexible funding options for international students studying BEng Engineering (Top-up) (Online) at Teesside University, Middlesbrough. They include the Pay-as-you-go programme.
