MSc Nutritional Science

Course Overview

The MSc Nutritional Science at Northumbria University is a master’s degree course that teaches students how food and nutrients affect our health. Students will learn how to conduct nutrition research, understand evidence-based advice, and even carry out their own nutrition studies. Over the program, you will study why nutrition matters so much in today’s world. This course is one year long if you study full-time. There is also a two-year option for part-time students.

Entry Requirements for Pakistani Students

Grade Requirements:

  • To join this course, you need a 2:2 (or higher) honours degree in a science-related field such as biology, biomedical science, or nutrition. Other equivalent qualifications are also considered.

English Proficiency:

  • If English is not your first language,  you will need to show proof of English proficiency with an IELTS score of 6.5 with no section below 6.0 in all skill components.
  • Equivalent tests such as TOEFL and PTE Academic are also accepted.

Cost of Study
