PhD Business

The Business PhD programme at the University of Greenwich involves producing a substantial and original piece of research in your chosen field. Entry Requirements

• Candidates are required to submit a detailed research proposal of approximately 1,500 words, transcripts, and evidence of language proficiency (if relevant) with their application.

• Applicants need to make informal preliminary contact with a potential supervisor or research group within the Business School.

• Students have the option to upload their CVs along with their applications to demonstrate their work experience.

Grade Requirements:

• Applicants need a Master's degree, with a minimum average of 60% in all areas of assessment, in a subject relevant to the proposed research project, and/or a First Class or second-class, First Division (Upper Second Class) Honours degree in a relevant subject.  

English Proficiency:

• Applicants whose first language is not English must demonstrate proficiency with an IELTS score of 6.5 overall and 6.5 in all elements or an acceptable equivalent.

The annual tuition fee for international students undertaking the PhD Business programme at the University of Greenwich is £18,700 for full-time study and £9,350 per year for part-time study.
