MSc Oil and Gas Management

The MSc Oil and Gas Management at Teesside University, Middlesbrough, offers a wide range of essential techniques and theories in oil and gas management. The 60-credit dissertation module equips you to undertake a supervised research project, allowing you to develop original knowledge in the specialised area of oil and gas management.

This programme structure consists of 20 credit taught modules delivered over two semesters for full-time study. Upon successful completion of these modules, you progress to a 60-credit research project. This course is accredited by the Energy Institute, granting eligibility for Membership of the Energy Institute (MEI)

Grade Requirements:

• Candidates need at least a 2:2 honours degree in a related discipline
• Candidates with significant relevant work experience may also be considered for admission, even if they do not meet the degree classification requirement 

English Proficiency:

• Candidates from non-English speaking countries are required to have an overall IELTS score of 6.0, with no component lower than 5.5
• Equivalent English language qualifications, such as TOEFL, are also accepted

The tuition fee for international students enrolling in this programme for the 2025/2026 academic year is 17000.
