BA Interior Design

Course Overview

The BA Interior Design course shapes students into professional, creative designers by equipping them with the necessary skills. Students will learn the design process, architectural drawing, interior decorative arts, and trend forecasting. They will work in a studio with high-quality Computer Aided Design (CAD) and workshop facilities.

This programme includes a work placement year using this as an opportunity to practice and gain real work experience. The course is accredited by the Society of British and International Interior Design (SBID) and recognised as a SBID National Centre of Excellence.

Students will be taught through practical, project-based work, simulating professional practice, live client projects and national competitions. Assessment involves coursework such as design assignments, projects, essays, and portfolios and less formal examinations.
