MSc Nursing Science Registered Nurse Adult

This two-year Master's programme is for graduates from any field who want to become a registered nurse. It was created with NHS organisations and follows the 'Future Nurse' standards set by the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC). The course combines learning in the classroom at the Coach Lane Campus with practical placements, giving students a full mix of academic theory and hands-on experience.

Grade Requirements:

• A minimum of a 2:2 honours degree or equivalent in any subject, and GCSEs at Grade 4 (Grade C) or above in English Language and Mathematics. Other subject qualifications, equivalent professional qualifications and/or relevant work experience will be considered on an individual basis.
• Additionally, applicants must provide evidence of a minimum of 500 hours of occupational or voluntary care work and a minimum of 700 hours of theoretical learning, which can be demonstrated through a previous degree and practice.

English Proficiency:

• Applicants from non-English speaking backgrounds need to score at least 7.0 overall in the IELTS Academic test, with a minimum writing score of 6.5 and all other sections at 7.0 or higher.
• Alternatively, they can submit equivalent test scores from an Occupational English Test (OET), with at least a grade B in reading, listening, and speaking, and at least a grade C+ in writing.

The annual tuition fee for the full-time master's course for the 2025/26 academic year is £19,350 for International students.
