About University

Northumbria University is a public university in Newcastle upon Tyne, in the North East of England. It started as Rutherford College in 1877 and became a university in 1992. Today, it is one of the largest universities in the UK.

Entry Requirements for Nigerian Students

Grade Requirements:

  • A UCAS tariff score of 112 is required to study this course. This can include a combination of acceptable qualifications such as A-level, T Level, BTEC Diplomas/Extended Diplomas, Access to HE Diplomas, or the International Baccalaureate.

English Proficiency:

  • International applicants should have a minimum overall IELTS (Academic) score of 6.0 with 5.5 in each component (or an approved equivalent).

Cost of Study

The tuition fee to study the BSc Artificial Intelligence at Northumbria University for the 2025/2026 academic session is £20,950. Please note that this is only for the first year of study, as subsequent fees will be increased.
