BA Joint Criminology and Law

Course Overview

The BA Joint Criminology and Law at Leeds Trinity University gives you the opportunity to study two connected subjects. You will learn about why crime happens, its impact on society, and gain legal knowledge and skills for a future career in law.

You will study how crime is investigated and managed in the justice system – from profiling and arrest to sentencing and rehabilitation. You will also examine subjects such as family law, comparative law, and how society views crime, with particular attention to serious and violent offences.

Your studies will include practical activities such as mooting, legal writing, courtroom work, and professional placements. These experiences will help you understand possible career paths in criminology, law, and related areas.

By studying Criminology and Law at Leeds Trinity University, you will gain solid knowledge of both subjects and develop the practical skills needed to begin a career in law or the criminal justice sector.
