MEng (Hons) Civil Engineering

Course Details

Studying an MEng (Hons) in Civil Engineering in the UK offers students a deeper and broader education than what they would get from a traditional bachelor's degree. This program will equip students with the knowledge and skills to design and build infrastructure that is sustainable for the environment. It would enable students to explore the challenges of civil engineering and how students can gain skills to solve them.

Entry Requirements

  • The applicant should possess a bachelor's degree in engineering or a related subject.

  • A level or its equivalent with Mathematics and Physics accepted. Other related subjects that may be accepted include chemistry, computer science, or biology.

  • BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma and National Extended Diploma (Engineering).

  • Some universities allow students who do not meet the direct requirements to take a foundation year in engineering to prepare them for the master's degree.

 

Grade Requirements

  • A Level or its equivalent with ABB to AAA in math and any related science subject.

  • A Second Class Upper Degree

 

English Proficiency:

  • Non-native English speakers may need to demonstrate proficiency in the language, typically through an IELTS score of at least 6.5. TOEFL or other equivalents are also allowed.
