BSc (Hons) Neuroscience is an interdisciplinary programme that explores the structure, function, and disorders of the nervous system. This course integrates aspects of Biology, Psychology, and Chemistry, providing students with a deep understanding of brain function, neural circuits, and diseases like Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, and epilepsy. Entry Requirements

Grade Requirements:

Entry requirements vary by institution, but a typical offer includes:

  • A-Levels: Typically AAB–ABB, including Biology and/or Chemistry, with some universities requiring Mathematics or Physics.

  • International Baccalaureate (IB): Usually 34–36 points, including Higher Level Biology and/or Chemistry.

  • BTEC Extended Diploma: Some universities accept a DDD profile in a science-related field.

 

English Proficiency: 

For international applicants whose first language is not English, demonstrating proficiency is essential. Common requirements include IELTS Academic, TOEFL, PTE or equivalent.
