BA International Business Management Top-up

The BA International Business Management Top-up at Teesside University, Middlesbrough, is designed for students who hold a Higher National Diploma (HND) or a Foundation Degree in business and wish to study for one year to achieve a business honours degree. This 1-year top-up degree provides students with an understanding of the global business environment and equips them with the skills required to be at the forefront of the international business world.

The Teesside University, Middlesbrough BA International Business Management Top-up programme will enable students to understand the key business disciplines and the principal management functions and skills required for effective management in their future careers.  Students will be able to tailor their studies to their own interests and career aspirations and have the opportunity to participate in short-term management and enterprise projects and gain work experience with multinational organisations.

Candidates are required to submit a personal statement in which they discuss their reasons for applying for the course and other relevant information regarding their studies. A relevant academic and/or employer reference is also required. Students have the option to upload their CVs along with their applications to demonstrate their work experience.

Grade Requirements: 

• Applicants need to possess a Higher National Diploma (HND) or a foundation degree (or an equivalent qualification) in a business or finance-related subject. 
• Individual applications are assessed on merit, considering the relevance and quality of prior qualifications.

English Proficiency:

• Applicants from non-English-speaking backgrounds need to demonstrate English language proficiency by achieving an IELTS score of 6.0 overall, with a minimum of 5.5 in each component. 
• Other accepted English language qualifications, like TOEFL and PTE, are also considered.

For international applicants taking the Teesside University, Middlesbrough BA International Business Management (Top-up) programme, the tuition fee is £17,000 per year.
