Grade Requirements:

• Students need to complete Levels 4 and 5 in a relevant design discipline, earning a total of 240 credits through either a Diploma in Higher Education (DipHE), a Foundation Degree, or a Higher National Diploma (HND) in an art discipline. 

• International equivalents are also accepted.

English Proficiency:

• Applicants whose first language is not English are expected to have a total IELTS score of 6.0, with no less than 5.5 in each individual skill area.

For the 2025/26 academic year, the tuition fee for Birmingham City University’s BA Art Business programme is £17,690. Please keep in mind that this fee is subject to an annual increase of up to 5%.

Birmingham City University (BCU) provides a range of scholarships to support international students in funding their education. There is the International Scholarship, which provides up to £2,000 as a tuition fee discount for undergraduate international students. However, this scholarship does not apply to exchange programmes, short courses, or conservatoire courses.
