MSc Nursing Pre-registration - Mental Health

The MSc Nursing (Pre-registration - Mental Health) programme at the University of Lincoln is for graduates who want to become registered mental health nurses. This course teaches students how to help people facing mental health issues like anxiety, depression, addiction, and eating disorders. • Applicants are required to pass an online group interview.
• Applicants must have lived in the United Kingdom for at least three years and have permanent permission to stay, known as "settled residential status.”
• When applying, students must submit a personal statement. This statement needs to show that they have worked at least 650 hours in a care role.

Grade Requirements:

• Candidates should have an honours degree with at least a 2:2 grade or an equivalent qualification.  

English Proficiency:

• For international candidates who are non-native English speakers, an overall IELTS score of 7.0 is required, with each skill area scoring 5.5 or higher.

For the 2025/26 academic year, the estimated tuition fee for international students enrolling in the University of Lincoln MSc Nursing (Pre-registration - Mental Health) programme is £18,400. Please note that this amount may be revised.
