The MSc Diagnostic Radiography (Pre-registration) at Teesside University is a 2-year full-time course (with a 21-month Postgraduate Diploma option too) designed for graduates who are not already in radiography. The course employs an engaging problem-based learning approach that integrates natural sciences, clinical expertise, health policy, and research skills.
Students will work with others studying different health courses, which helps them gain multiple perspectives. They learn to use advanced imaging technology such as X-rays, CT scanners, and MRI machines to create diagnostic images. A major part of the course includes hands-on clinical placements in regional hospitals, providing experience in departments such as Accident & Emergency and general X-ray.
This course is offered by the School of Health & Life Sciences, which has a strong reputation, and its graduates are highly sought after by NHS employers.
