MSc Sport Performance and Analysis

This Northumbria University, Newcastle MSc Sport Performance and Analysis programme is created to support what you already know and have experienced so far in training and coaching. It will give you up-to-date academic knowledge and equip you with the necessary practical and research skills to ensure you are prepared to practice in a professional field of high-performance sport. The curriculum focuses on a holistic approach to professional practice, knowledge of individual and team objectives, establishing good relations and influencing stakeholders.

Grade Requirements:

• Applicants should normally have a minimum of a second-class honours degree in a relevant subject area such as sports science, sports performance and coaching, physical education, physiotherapy, or social sciences. Other professional qualifications or relevant work experience will be considered on an individual basis.

English Proficiency:

• Applicants from non-English speaking backgrounds are required to have a minimum overall IELTS score of 6.5, with a minimum of 6.0 in all sections. International students can also submit other test scores, like TOEFL and PTE.
