BSc Nursing Studies Mental Health

Course Overview

The Glasgow Caledonian University BSc Nursing Studies (Mental Health) programme prepares students to become mental health nurses, promoting mental wellbeing and supporting individuals experiencing mental health challenges. This course focuses on modern approaches to supporting and treating people, emphasising individual strengths and independence. Students undertake practical learning for half of the course through placements in various settings, including NHS community and hospital environments, as well as independent and voluntary sector services.
