The University of Suffolk opened in 2007 as University Campus Suffolk (UCS), established through a collaboration with the University of East Anglia and the University of Essex. In 2016, it achieved full self-governance and changed its name to the University of Suffolk.
The university is organised into four main academic divisions, covering subjects in health, nursing, social sciences, humanities, technology, business, and the arts. The classes are intentionally kept small compared to other older universities. This way, your teachers can give you better guidance and individual assistance.
The university also makes sure that teaching and research are very practical, which guarantees that your studies will give you the relevant skills that employers are looking for today.
