LLM Human Rights Law

Course Overview

The LLM Human Rights Law at the University of Strathclyde enables students to develop a better understanding of how human rights law operates at the UK, European and international levels and to explore its impact on society. Students will study the key international principles in human rights law that can influence the development of policy and examine expressive rights such as the freedom of religion, politics and art.

There are three potential exit points from this programme: Postgraduate Certificate, Postgraduate Diploma and Masters. With satisfactory performance, students can transfer between these exit points. For example, a student who initially registers for the Certificate may choose to continue to the Diploma or Master’s qualification; similarly, a student who begins with the Masters can transfer to the Certificate or Diploma.
