How and when do I submit my application?

October – January

The Application Window

  • Undergraduate (UCAS) Submissions: Submit all undergraduate applications directly through the official UCAS portal.
  • Postgraduate Direct Applications: AHZ staff will help you apply directly to university portals early for scholarship opportunities.
  • Recommendation Letters: Request letters that highlight your academic and professional potential from your teachers or employers.

What happens after I receive a university offer?

February – May

Evaluation & Acceptance

  • Reviewing Offers: Evaluate "Conditional" or "Unconditional" offers with our staff to choose the best fit for your future career.
  • Securing Your Seat: Officially accept your offer and pay the tuition deposit to confirm your place at the university.
  • Requesting your CAS: Once conditions are met and the deposit is paid, the university will issue the CAS digital document for your visa application.

What are the UK student visa and financial requirements?

June – August

Visa & Finance

  • The 28-Day Rule: Ensure tuition and living expenses are held in a personal or a relative's bank account for at least 28 days before applying for your visa.
  • Medical Requirements: Book and attend a mandatory Tuberculosis (TB) test at a UKVI-approved clinic.
  • Visa Submission: Apply online and attend your biometric appointment at a VFS Global or TLScontact centre to provide fingerprints and a photo.
