BEng (Hons) Mechanical Engineering is a comprehensive degree program that combines theoretical knowledge with hands-on practical experience. Throughout the program, you'll study core engineering principles, mechanics, materials science, thermodynamics, and modern design techniques. Summarily, this course prepares you for different engineering careers with the focus on designing, manufacturing, and maintaining mechanical systems.

Entry Requirements

To study BEng (Hons) Mechanical Engineering in the UK, there are entry requirements applicants must meet. While these requirements vary between universities, here are the typical ones:

 

  • A-Levels: BBB to AAA grades, including Mathematics and Physics.

  • BTEC Level 3 National Extended Diploma: DDM to D*DD grades in Engineering.

  • International Baccalaureate: 32-36 points with Higher Level Mathematics and Physics.
