Course Overview

Northumbria University's BA Business and Supply Chain Management provides a well-rounded combination of business knowledge and specialised supply chain knowledge. Before concentrating on operations and supply chain topics like Logistics, Sustainability, and Innovation, you will start with a general understanding of important business fields like Finance, Marketing, and Human Resources.

About University

Northumbria University, located in Newcastle upon Tyne in the North East of England, has a long-standing history dating back to 1877 when it was established as Rutherford College. It officially became a university in 1992 and has since grown to become one of the largest in the UK, with around 38,300 students.

Northumbria's main campus, City Campus, is situated in Newcastle, and it provides students with access to the city's cultural and economic life. The university also has a campus at Coach Lane, as well as locations in London and Amsterdam, extending its reach and accessibility.

Entry Requirements

Grade Requirements:

  • The qualifications required for standard entry to this course include 112 UCAS Tariff points from a combination of acceptable Level 3 qualifications, which may include: A-level, BTEC Diplomas/Extended Diplomas, Access to HE Diplomas, or the International Baccalaureate.
  • Applicants with equivalent qualifications can also apply.

English Proficiency: 

  • Non-native speakers of English will be required to demonstrate proficiency in English with an IELTS score of 6.0 with a minimum of 5.5 in each component. 
  • Approved equivalent tests are also accepted by the university.

Cost of Study

For the 2025/2026 academic session, the tuition fee to study a degree in Business and Supply Chain Management at Northumbria University is £20,950. It should be noted that this is only for the first year of study, and the university may increase fees in the second and subsequent years of study.
