BSc Human Resource Management

Course Overview

The BSc Human Resource Management (Top-Up) at the University of Roehampton is a one-year course for students who already have a foundation degree, HND, or equivalent in a business-related subject. It helps you build on what you’ve already learned and finish your full undergraduate degree.

This course teaches you how to manage people in the workplace, how to hire the right staff, train them, solve workplace problems, and make sure they are treated fairly. You’ll also study business laws, pay and reward systems, and how to support employee wellbeing.

Entry Requirements

A personal statement and two (2) references are required as part of the application. 

Academic Requirements:

  • 240 credits from a Higher National Diploma (HND), a foundation degree (FdA/ FdSc) or equivalent international qualification in a relevant subject
  • 240 credits from years 1 and 2 of an undergraduate degree (BA/BSc) in a relevant subject at a different institution

English Language Requirements:
International students need to demonstrate proficiency in English. The typical requirement is IELTS 6.0 overall, with no less than 5.5 in each component. Other equivalent English language qualifications may also be accepted.

Cost of Study

The tuition fee for UK students to study BSc Human Resource Management (Top-up) at the University of Roehampton is £9,535 per year. For international students, the annual tuition fee is approximately £16,950.
