AHZ is going global with expert guidance across multiple study destinations, helping students compare countries, universities and courses.
After 16+ years of guiding students towards achieving a quality education in the UK, we’re proud to announce that AHZ is shifting to the global stage, with more options available for our students.
From today, our end-to-end support will be available across multiple study destinations, instead of just the UK. From your first consultation to the day you arrive, our expert counsellors will be with you every step of the way, no matter which study destination you choose.
Why are we making this change?

This isn’t a sudden pivot; this is the result of years spent building the foundations: partnerships with 200+ institutions worldwide, counsellors based in the markets where students live, and a process that has been refined across more than 30,000 study journeys.
We’ve worked across multiple markets for a long time, and we noticed an increase in students enquiring about destinations beyond the UK, so we took the time to listen and then started building the partnerships, local knowledge and visa expertise needed to answer properly.
Every destination we support comes with new partner universities that we trust to provide students with high-quality tuition and the best value for their money, and our experts know each country’s individual entry requirements and visa rules inside out.
Our counsellors, based in your own country, will help you compare your options and then guide you through the whole process, from shortlisting, visa application support and preparing you for your study abroad experience.
When we say we can help you compare countries, it’s because we’ve already done the groundwork in each one.
The one-destination agent is on its way out
We believe the future of student recruitment is advice-led, not destination-led. Students are more informed than ever. They often read forums, watch videos and compare rankings before they’ve even spoken to us. What they’re looking for now is a trusted voice that helps them make sense of all the information available.
An agent that sells only one country can’t give that advice. As more students compare options before they commit, the agents that last will be the ones who can say, with evidence, “this country suits you best”, even when it isn’t the one they know best.
Students shouldn’t have to pick an agent before they pick a country
Most students start with a country in mind. Far fewer know whether it’s the right one. They’ve heard the UK is the safe choice, a cousin says Germany is cheaper, and a friend might already be in Australia. They need someone who can compare the options fairly and objectively.
Too often, the advice a student gets will depend on which agent they happen to speak to. Many agents specialise in one or two destinations, and understandably steer students towards what they know.
Families end up speaking to several agents just to compare countries, and leave more confused than when they started. We’re here to address this issue by giving you impartial advice on the best destination, university and course to help you achieve your goals for the future.
What one team and one process means for you
For students and families, the benefits are practical:
A fair comparison. Your counsellor will set destinations side by side on cost, entry requirements, work rights and career outcomes, without steering you towards a favourite.
One point of contact. You’re assigned a dedicated counsellor from your first consultation through to your visa, rather than having to repeat your story to several agents.
Support close to home. Our counsellors understand the questions students and parents ask in your own country, and answer them in context.
Clear next steps. Whichever country you choose, you’ll know what to prepare, what it costs and what comes next.
We’re not leaving the UK behind
The UK is where AHZ started; it’s where our head office is based, and it will always be a central part of AHZ’s operations.
For many students, it’s still their first choice, and for good reason. The UK offers a globally recognised education system, a wide range of subjects and a long tradition of welcoming international students. Many of our students choose it because of its reputation, and it consistently ranks among the destinations they ask about most.
If we believe that studying in the UK is the right fit for you, we’ll tell you so, and we’ll back that advice with the depth of experience only we can bring.
What’s coming next
Over the next few months we’ll be adding destination guides, market-specific advice and events for students and families, so you can explore your options before you speak to anyone.
If you’re already weighing up where to study, you don’t need to wait.
Book a free consultation with one of our counsellors, and we’ll help you compare your options.
