The University of Manchester is a public research university in the city of Manchester, in the north of England. Founded in 1824, it has nearly two centuries of history behind it, and today it welcomes students from many countries who come to study in one of England's major cities. For international students who would like extra preparation before beginning a degree, pathway and foundation routes are available through INTO Global.

These programmes are designed to help students build the academic skills and confidence they need to move on to university-level study, making the transition to studying in the United Kingdom a smoother and more manageable step.
