BA Business Management

The BA (Hons) Business & Management at Wrexham University prepares students for the modern business world by developing personal and professional skills. The course teaches the essential aspects of management, business operations, corporate strategy, business law, and human resources. 

Students can also undertake work placement and achieve a Level 5 Diploma/Certificate in Leadership & Management from the Chartered Management Institute.

This course equips students with the knowledge and abilities to become effective business managers, fostering entrepreneurial skills for developing their businesses. The curriculum is a combination of important subject areas like the Business Environment, Economics, Big Data, Financial Technologies, Competitive Intelligence, Law, innovation and entrepreneurship.

Wrexham became a university in 2008, but started earlier as the Wrexham School of Science and Art in 1887. The university works closely with big companies in the area, like Airbus, Kellogg's, JCB, and the BBC.

It offers both undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in different disciplines. These disciplines include Medicine, Law, Engineering, Business, and the Arts. Wrexham University has several locations in North Wales and a campus in London that specialises in computing and management.

To be considered for this course, applicants must present a personal statement outlining their reasons for applying and any other information related to their academic history. A relevant academic reference or letter from an employer is also required. They can also include their CVs in the application to highlight relevant work experience.

Grade Requirements:

• Applicants usually need between 96 and 112 UCAS tariff points with a minimum of two A-levels, BTEC Extended Diploma and T-levels.
• Other international equivalent qualifications are also considered.

 English Proficiency:

• Applicants whose first language is not English need an IELTS score of 6.0 overall (with a minimum of 5.5 in each component) 
• An equivalent of PTE and TOEFL can also be considered.
