MSc International Relations International Intervention

University of Surrey

Course overview

The University of Surrey MSc International Relations (International Intervention) programme provides a deep understanding of the complex nature of international interventions in global politics.

This course looks at different ways countries intervene, including military, humanitarian, and economic actions, exploring why they happen, how they're carried out, and what their effects are in today's world.

Your learning will involve studying theories and analysing real-life examples, which helps you think critically about how effective and ethical international actions are. Your understanding and research skills will be assessed through essays, presentations, and a final research project, helping you build strong analytical and research abilities.
