Course overview
The MSc Civil Engineering at the University of Surrey is a fully accredited programme providing advanced training in the principles and practices of civil engineering. Entry requirements
Applicants must submit a personal statement detailing their motivation for applying and provide a relevant academic and/or employer reference. A CV can also be included to demonstrate work experience.
Grade Requirements:
- A first degree equivalent to at least a UK second class (2.2) honours degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related engineering subject.
- Applicants with degrees in allied fields such as engineering geology or construction management may be considered, particularly if they have relevant professional experience.
English Proficiency:
- IELTS Academic: 6.5 overall, with a minimum of 6.0 in Writing and 5.5 in Reading, Listening, and Speaking.
- Equivalent English language tests such as TOEFL or PTE Academic are accepted.
