MSc Advanced Pharmaceutical Manufacturing
Course overview
The University of Strathclyde’s MSc Advanced Pharmaceutical Manufacturing helps students understand the industrial drug-making procedure, introducing them to the advanced practical steps to produce drugs which enhance health and cure disease. This course also covers medicine and technology.
Students who enrol in this course learn the newest pharmaceutical and chemical manufacturing techniques while gaining skills in advanced technologies. They also undertake modules such as process optimisation, quality control, regulatory compliance, and application technologies.
Graduates develop skills through using equipment and can gain work-ready skills from industry partners such as AstraZeneca, Pfizer, and Novartis, who may also offer work placements and access to research laboratories. Besides the drug-making industries, they can also secure roles in the chemical and food industries, where they ensure that the production meets the required standards.
