This programme prepares students with the skills needed to handle the challenges of the data revolution. It helps you understand how classical statistical methods are applied in the contemporary analysis of data and offers you opportunities to carry out a research project with the industry. The curriculum is focused on such critical fields as Distributed Information Systems and Machine Learning Data Analytics, which will assist in preparing students to work in different fields.
You will study using lectures, tutorials and labs, and it is a blend of individual and team learning. Students will gain expertise in computer and data science, alongside important skills in communication, teamwork and analysis. Assessment is conducted through written examinations, reports, oral presentations and moderated peer assessment. A significant MSc project is a core part of the summer semester.
