Course Overview

The BEng Computer & Electronic Systems at the University of Strathclyde is an undergraduate degree that teaches students electronic engineering and computer science, including how to handle software and hardware. Entry Requirements

Grade Requirements:

  • Applicants require A-levels in Mathematics and Physics, Scottish Highers with Maths and Physics or Engineering Science.
  • Candidates with an International Baccalaureate of 34-32 points or 36-34 points with Higher Level Maths and Physics or HNC/HND holders in Electronics or Electrical Engineering may also be considered, provided they have the required units.

English Proficiency:

  • International students require an IELTS overall score of 6.5, with no component below 5.5.
  • Other accepted English tests include TOEFL iBT, Pearson PTE Academic, Trinity ISEII/III, or Cambridge English.
