BA Business Analysis and Technology Business Law
Course overview
The BA (Hons) Business Analysis and Technology & Business Law degree at the University of Strathclyde is a joint course that combines two important areas. Business analysis helps managers make better choices using new methods and technology. Business law, on the other hand, is about the legal rules that businesses must follow. This course will give you a good understanding of how a business works and the legal rules it needs to operate under.
You will study two main parts. In the Business Analysis and Technology part, you will learn about key management issues and use different methods to solve problems in real business situations. You will also learn how to use technology and information systems to help managers. In the business law part, you will take a core law class and get to choose other subjects, such as company law, competition law, and human rights law.

To be considered for this course, you should have A-levels with grades of at least ABB to BBB, an International Baccalaureate of 30 to 32 points, or an HNC or HND with a grade of A in the graded units.
English Proficiency:

If you are an international student whose native language is not English, you will need to demonstrate your English skills. You must achieve an overall IELTS score of 6.5, with a minimum of 5.5 in each component.

25% fee reduction per year (three years in total).
Faculty of Engineering International Scholarship for Undergraduate Study
Value: 15% of tuition fees for each year of study - typically £4,650 for first year.
Faculty of Science Undergraduate Scholarships for International Students
Scholarships of between £6,000 - £7,000 per year of study are available to new international students joining an eligible undergraduate degree in the Faculty of Science in the 2026/27 academic year.
