MBA Master of Business Administration Global Supply Chain

Course Overview

The MBA Global program is a two-year course designed for individuals seeking management roles or those already in management looking to advance their careers. The program focuses on developing professionals who can solve complex business problems and make strategic decisions within their organisations.

The course highlights include a work placement opportunity of up to ten months and industry projects set by public and private sector partners to hone real-world problem-solving skills. Students will learn from business and policy leaders through industry visits and direct interaction with senior decision-makers. 

The curriculum covers global challenges, marketing, organisational behaviour, HRM, leadership, strategy, financial management, and operations management in the digital age. The program uses innovative assessments to build a portfolio of skills and competencies, with no examinations.

Additional information includes the opportunity to obtain the CMI Level 7 Diploma in Strategic Management and Leadership upon successful completion for an additional fee of £250. The university regularly reviews and updates course content to reflect current employment trends and employer demands.

Entry Requirements

Candidates are required to submit a personal statement explaining their reasons for applying for the course and providing other relevant information about their studies. A relevant academic and/or employer reference is also required. Students can upload their CVS along with their applications to demonstrate their work experience.

Grade Requirements:

  • Applicants need at least a second-class undergraduate degree or a recognised international equivalent qualification. Relevant managerial experience is preferable, and all applicants are considered on an individual basis.

English Proficiency:

  • Applicants from non-English speaking backgrounds need to have achieved an overall IELTS score of 6.0, with a minimum of 5.5 in each component. The university also accepts other test scores, like PTE and TOEFL.

Cost of Study

The cost of study for international students undertaking the full-time MBA Master of Business Administration Global (Supply Chain) program at the University of South Wales is £17,900 per year.
