MSc Human Resource Management

This MSc Human Resource Management programme is designed to help you become a strategic leader in managing people in international organisations. It's focused on applying ideas to real-world situations and is accredited by the CIPD, the professional body for HR. The course is worth 180 credits and is delivered in blocks across three trimesters, with a mix of modules worth 30 and 15 credits.

You will learn through face-to-face teaching, including interactive lectures, workshops, discussions, and activities. Online support is also available through the university's virtual learning environment, Blackboard. You will be assessed through essays, assignments, multiple-choice tests, online tests, group reports, and portfolio work.

This programme is for graduates with a background in business or social sciences who want to specialise in HRM.

• You need to have a degree from a university that is equal to at least a second-class honours degree in the UK. The university also accepts some professional qualifications as equivalent.

English Proficiency:

• If English is not your first language, you need to prove that you can understand and use English well enough for the course. One way to do this is to get a score of 6.0 overall in the IELTS test, with no part of the test scoring below 5.5. The university also accepts other English language tests, such as PTE and TOEFL.

If you are an international student starting the full-time MSc Human Resource Management course in the academic year 2025/26, the fee for the year is £16,560.
