Entry Requirements

Grade requirements:

 

  • Applicants must have a relevant higher education qualification, such as an HND, foundation degree, advanced diploma, or even 240 credits from years 1 and 2 of an undergraduate degree (BEng/BSc).

 

English Language Requirements:

 

  • International applicants whose first language is not English are required to provide an overall IELTS score of 6.0  with at least 5.5 in each component score.

  • TOEFL or other equivalents are also allowed.

Cost of Study

The 2026 tuition fee for the BSc Computer Science and Advanced Technologies (Top-Up) at the University of Portsmouth is £16,200 per year for international students. The fee is subject to an annual increase.

Scholarships
