BA Business Economics

Course Overview

The BA Business Economics programme at the University of Lincoln helps students gain the necessary skills to handle the various challenges that today’s businesses face. The course lasts three years for full-time students, and there is an option for a fourth year if they choose to do a placement or study abroad. By focusing on real-world applications both in the UK and globally, the course aims to provide a solid understanding of the economic decisions organisations need to make to ensure their operations run smoothly.

During the programme, students study different key areas like international trade, basic economic principles, financial markets, and public policy. They engage with core modules such as Principles of Economics, Fundamentals of Econometrics, and Economic Policy Analysis. Students are assessed through assignments, reports, tests, exams, and presentations, allowing them to demonstrate what they've learned.

Graduates can find job opportunities in various fields, including roles in government agencies, research organisations, and multinational corporations.
