BSc International Business with a Year in Industry

Course Overview

The BSc International Business programme is designed for students with an interest in the global nature of business and the cultural context of enterprise. The course covers a broad range of topics, including management, marketing, entrepreneurship, and finance, with a focus on their operation within a global context. 

Students will develop an understanding of international markets and trade and cultivate communication, teamwork, and data-analysis skills. Teaching methods include immersive seminars and workshops where students can apply theory to practice using real business data. 

This course includes a year in the industry following the second year of study, enabling students to apply their expertise in a work setting and earn a salary. As a Kent Business School graduate, students will be equipped with industry-relevant skills and essential knowledge to address the challenges and opportunities faced by global businesses.

Entry Requirements

Grade Requirements:

Applicants must achieve 112-128 UCAS tariff points. This can be met through A-Levels (BBC), T Levels (Merit), or BTEC Diplomas (DMM). Equivalent international qualifications will be assessed for suitability.

English Proficiency:

For applicants whose first language is not English, an IELTS score of 6.0 overall, with a minimum of 5.5 in each component, or equivalent qualifications such as PTE or TOEFL, is required.
