BA Business Management With Year Abroad

Course Overview

The BA (Hons) Business Management with Year Abroad at the University of Hull is designed to provide students with an understanding of modern business management practices. Students will learn about core business areas, including marketing, finance, human resources, and strategy, which ensures they graduate with a comprehensive understanding of how to manage organisations across industries.

A distinctive feature of this four-year degree is the year abroad, which gives students the chance to study in a different country across Europe, Asia, North America, or Australia, and gain invaluable international experience. This year helps to improve communication skills and adaptability, and it also broadens their understanding of global business practices, which makes graduates more appealing to employers.

During the programme, students learn through a mix of lectures, seminars, group projects, and interactive workshops, which will help them put theoretical knowledge into practice. Assessment methods are assignments, presentations, case studies, and reflective journals, designed to evaluate students’ practical business skills and prepare them for careers in the global market.
