Course overview
This course will equip you for a range of careers in fashion, including working as a designer, merchandiser, in marketing, buying or other areas of the industry. It focuses on contemporary fashion design, marketing, and garment production, including for womenswear, menswear, and gender-neutral clothing. You will learn from staff with professional experience in the fashion industry, and use cutting edge equipment located in our purpose-built £30 million specialist Barbara Hepworth Building.
Fashion Design with Marketing BA(Hons) focuses on fashion design with the specialism of fashion marketing, through market awareness and intelligence, brand concepts and identity, and marketing strategies.

Entry requirements
- A-level: BBB-BCC — or equivalent
- UCAS tariff points: 104-120 — BBB-BCC at A Level or equivalent. 120-104 UCAS tariff points from a combination of Level 3 qualifications.
- T-level: Merit — Merit in T Level .
- BTEC: DMM-MMM — BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma
- Access to HE Diploma — with 45 Level 3 credits at Merit or above
