LLM Master of Laws
Course overview
This LLM Master of Laws at the University of Hertfordshire focuses on future careers. Students can choose the subjects (modules) that best fit their own job goals and interests. The course can be completed in one year full-time, or they can choose a two-year option that includes a work placement. This helps make sure they benefit from the Law School's excellent links with law companies and the networking events they run.
The way students learn is very practical, using real-life business problems and hands-on exercises to build key skills for jobs in business, trade, or education. Their grades are based on coursework and practical tasks that mimic real legal careers. This makes sure they are ready for the working world. Important guest speakers from the legal profession often visit to offer useful career advice.
Entry requirements
Candidates must send in a personal statement where they explain why they want to take the course and share any other important details about their background in study. Students also need to provide one good reference from either a teacher or their current employer. They can also choose to upload their CV (work history) to show any professional experience they have. This whole system is designed to check if they are a good match for the course and if they are serious about working in law.

-
If they studied outside the UK, students must have an international qualification that is seen as equal to a UK Honours degree (at least a 2:2).
English Language Requirements:
-
