LLB Study Abroad
Course overview
The LLB Study Abroad course at the University of Greenwich is a four-year full-time degree that includes a year studying in Europe at one of Greenwich’s selected partner institutions. All of the fundamental legal topics needed for a qualifying law degree are covered in this course, and students also gain transferable skills like working knowledge of a foreign language and cross-cultural communication. They are exposed to a different legal and cultural system throughout their year abroad, which improves their adaptability and global perspective.
Both the Bar Standards Board (BSB) and the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) accept the degree upon graduation, making graduates qualified to work as solicitors or barristers in England and Wales.
Academic experts and legal professionals provide instruction and evaluation through lectures, one-on-one tutoring, seminars, workshops, and self-directed learning. In order to monitor progress, the program includes both formal exams and practice tasks.
In addition to covering modules like Public Law, Law of Contract, and Legal Skills, Advocacy and Professional Ethics, Commercial Law, International Law, Family Law, Intellectual Property, Medical Law, and a Dissertation, students can choose from language options like French, Italian, Spanish, or a Legal System module.
