BA Business Management Human Resource Management

Course Overview

The BA Business & Management (Human Resource Management) course at the University of Gloucestershire helps students learn how to manage people and businesses successfully. The programme is three years long and is based at the university’s Oxstalls Campus in Gloucester.

During the first year, students learn about finance management, marketing principles, organisation management, and leadership. In the second year, they cover core modules such as Professional and Ethical People Practice, Employability and Entrepreneurship, and Fundamentals of Digital Marketing. In the final year, students study advanced HR management strategies and can earn a qualification in equality and diversity from the Chartered Management Institute (CMI).

Graduates of this course are ready to work in human resource departments or general management roles. The course is approved by professional groups like the CMI, and students can become members of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Development (CIPD). The programme also offers options for work placements, helping students gain real-world experience.
